Walkway closures

25 February – 2 March

Please note the East Walkway will be closed all day from Tuesday 25 February - Sunday 2 March for maintenance. The West Walkway with the Glass Floor and views of the City of London skyline, Tower of London, HMS Belfast and St Pauls will be open as usual. Visitors will receive a discounted ticket for visits during these dates.

4 – 9 March

Please note the West Walkway will be closed all day from Tuesday 4 March – Sunday 9 March for maintenance. Views of the City of London skyline will be limited however the East Walkway, with its Glass Floor, and the Victorian Engine Rooms will be open as usual.  Visitors will receive a discounted ticket for visits during these dates.

Tower Bridge is open 09:30 - 18:00
Last entry is 17:00

On the second Saturday every month, between 9:30 and 11:30, entry to Tower Bridge is reserved for Relaxed Opening attendees.

The Tower Bridge Ticket Office and entrance is located in the west side of the North Tower.

1. Your visit begins by climbing the North Tower.
2. Then head along East Walkway and West Walkway, crossing the iconic Glass Floors.
3. Descend down the South Tower to road level.
4. Then follow the Blue line commemorating the workers of Tower Bridge.
5. Finally, enter the Victorian Engine Rooms and complete your visit in our gift shop.

Tips for your visit

✔ All visitors must queue on arrival. 
✔ Queues are outside the Bridge, so check the weather!
✔ Wear comfortable shoes for walking up the Tower (lifts will be available for those who require them).
✔ Please note we operate a 100% searching policy meaning all bags are subject to search on arrival. We allow shoulder bags and backpacks with maximum dimensions 45 x 35 x 20 cm. Suitcases, wheeled bags and oversize items will not be allowed in the Bridge.

Accessibility

Tower Bridge aims to be fully accessible.

There is lift access to all levels in the Towers and Engine Rooms. 

Please be aware that due to unforeseen circumstances, lifts may be out of order at short notice. We advise you to contact our bookings team via email at bookings@towerbridge.org.uk or by calling 020 7407 9191 between Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. 

Accessible toilets are also available once inside.
