Tower Bridge welcomes groups

Tower Bridge is a must-see with any visit to London. Learn about why the Bridge was built, see the Victorian Engine Rooms and stand on the iconic Glass Floors. 

From the high-level Walkways, you will see spectacular views. Look out for the famous red London buses and the riverboats from 42 metres above the River Thames.

A group is led through the Tower Bridge attraction by a guide onto the Glass Floors.

Group Guided Tour

Led by an expert guide, this tour will bring your group to all areas of the Bridge where you will see the iconic Towers, Walkways and the Victorian Engine Rooms. Your guide will bring the iconic structure to life and will enlighten you on the stories behind the Bridge’s history and the people that built it.

Due to the nature of the attraction, our capacity for group tours is 16. Depending on your group size, you may have to have two tours.

How long do you recommend for a group visit to Tower Bridge?

For a group visit, you must arrive at your booked entry time. We recommend approximately 1 hour to 90 minutes for the visitor experience.

It is always best to build in additional time when visiting with a group.

Are there conditions of entry?

  • All groups of children must be supervised by a minimum ratio of one adult per 15 children.
  • Groups of students aged 16-17 years must be accompanied by a minimum of one adult per 30 students.
  • All adults supervising children or students are required to remain with their group throughout the visit and be on hand to take any instructions from our team.
  • Groups of more than 30 persons will be required to split into smaller sections before entering and must remain apart throughout the visit in order to prevent congestion.

What is the minimum number to get a group ticket?

The minimum number for a group to qualify for the group ticket price is 15 people.

The following tickets qualify: Adult, Child, Student, Senior 60+, Disabled Adult and Disabled Child.

Where do I collect tickets for my group on the day?

On arrival, please join the queue outside the attraction. 

You will be placed in the waiting zone by staff while the group leader will be directed inside to process the booking.

 


 

Where can our coach drop off the group?

Tower Bridge is a red route which means there can be no stopping at any time.

Coaches can drop-off and collect from the Tower Hill car park, where it is free for 15 minutes. Many coaches also drop off and collect from Tooley Street.

Always check for updates the day before your visit in case of road works or closures. 

Is there coach parking available?

Yes. There is a coach park conveniently located near the Tower of London. 

Do you have a Gift Shop?

Yes, the Shop is located at the end of your visit. Our Shop has something for everyone including gifts, souvenir, and books.

Where are the nearest toilets?

Our toilet facilities are all inside Tower Bridge. After entering the visitor attraction, there are toilets within the South Tower, which are accessible. There are also two toilets, including one accessible toilet, in the Engine Rooms.

Please ask our friendly staff who would be happy to advise you of the nearest restroom.

Do you have a cafe or restaurant?

We don’t have a café or restaurant but there is plenty of choice in the areas especially south side of the Bridge where your visit ends.

You have a choice of cafés, restaurants, pubs or your group could enjoy a picnic on Potter’s Field.

Do you offer complimentary entry to tour leader/guide?

No. We don't offer complimentary tickets to tour leaders.

We offer complimentary entry to Blue Badge guides and City of London guides only.
